Floriade 2013

Floriade is Australia's largest annual celebration of Spring with more than one million blooms creating a spectacular living work of art and it's held right here in Canberra. How lucky are we to have this month long festival on our doorstep! We go every year, usually several times and revel in the eye-popping colours of Spring.

The boys love the circus playground which was a new addition to the kids area. Jack was just a little bit in awe of the plate spinning.

Harry hung with the pram...circus music weirds him out.

Then onto the petting farm for one happy, hands-on toddler!

This year we're hitting up Floriade's Nightfest too. Sick kids and bad weather foiled previous year's attempts but gosh darn it, we are going to go and see everything lit up like a fairy wonderland this year if it kills us!

Oh...and Happy 100th Canberra!

    1. I love tulips too. We never had them in our garden as a kid, tropics and tulips don't mix. It's so nice to be living in a place cold enough to grow them now xxx
