Where the foxgloves sway...

A long overdue visit to Lanyon this morning for coffee and good company.

The gardens were in fine form, borders filled with foxglove and rose, the vege patch planted out with summer seedlings and the orchard in full leaf, dotted with the beginnings of apricot and apple.

Happy Friday Friends.

Puddleducklane is at it again.

It's been a very busy, creatively satisfying couple of weeks around here. I'm in my happy headspace, designing and making bits of Christmas beautiful for my Puddleducklane Etsy store which will open in mid November.

I'm not even halfway through my list of seasonal pretties but here's a sneak peek so far.

I'll share the link to the store and blog more about what will be in stock in a couple of weeks. Til then, you'll find me at the dining table, drinking tea and making a jolly great glittery mess.

Bloomin' Lovely

It 4am.

I'm sitting on the couch, eyes and nose streaming, sneezing like there's no tomorrow, with a roll of toilet paper in my lap...having used up every tissue in the house. Just waiting for the antihistamines to do their thang.

Hayfever...crikey!

It's the penance I pay for spending the day gardening...in Spring.

It's a Canberra thing...hayfever capital of Australia.

I happily pay the price though because the garden is blooming lovely.

Something's are just worth taking the hit for, don't you think?
