Jolly Old Goulburn

It's the first week of school hols for us and today was the perfect day to head up the highway to Goulburn to snoop around an historic roundhouse full of old steamies and diesels. It was the perfect weather to have a picnic by the river and soak up the autumn sunshine. But best of all it was the perfect time to hang out with beloved friends.

Life is beautiful.

Christmas by the sea.

We're home from a fabulous christmas in Eden.

Family, food, sunshine, beach time, a little adventure and a lot of R&R.

It was magic!

Husband taught Harry the art of chess.

I got to hang with my beautiful nieces.

Christmas Day was excitement and joy and tantrums and laughter and talking to loved ones far, far away.

Sisterly selfies.

Curious cousins.

Pool sharks.

A summery feast with prawns fresh from the trawler.

A stroll through the bush to the old jetty for fishing and leaping into the water.

Boxing Day was adventure and discovery in Ben Boyd National Park.

I want to live in that house! So does my sister-in-law Margie.

The weather rolled in and the rain came down so we settled for an afternoon of game playing in the beach house. Yesterday the wind was blowing a gale so we packed up and headed home a day early. The cats and chickens were just a little bit happy to see us.

Hope you had a beautiful holiday, wherever you were.

Looking forward to welcoming in the New Year.
