Local tourists

Summer school hols means playing the local tourists and visiting some of the boys favourite attractions around Canberra. First on the list...Cockington Green Gardens in Gold Creek. Miniature villages, model railways and glorious gardens. It's looking even more ravishing than usual too.

Then a session feeding the birds at the Aviary Walk.

Before a refreshment stop at Adore Tea.
For the grown ups...Turkish bread, dips and a cooling Coconut & Lime iced tea. For the kidlets...juice and frogs in the pond (aka jelly cups).

So lovely to see so many international tourists there today. Just love it when others get to enjoy our gorgeous city with all its charms.

Christmas by the sea.

We're home from a fabulous christmas in Eden.

Family, food, sunshine, beach time, a little adventure and a lot of R&R.

It was magic!

Husband taught Harry the art of chess.

I got to hang with my beautiful nieces.

Christmas Day was excitement and joy and tantrums and laughter and talking to loved ones far, far away.

Sisterly selfies.

Curious cousins.

Pool sharks.

A summery feast with prawns fresh from the trawler.

A stroll through the bush to the old jetty for fishing and leaping into the water.

Boxing Day was adventure and discovery in Ben Boyd National Park.

I want to live in that house! So does my sister-in-law Margie.

The weather rolled in and the rain came down so we settled for an afternoon of game playing in the beach house. Yesterday the wind was blowing a gale so we packed up and headed home a day early. The cats and chickens were just a little bit happy to see us.

Hope you had a beautiful holiday, wherever you were.

Looking forward to welcoming in the New Year.
