London Bridge Arch

Hullo...is anyone out there?
Its me...the prodigal blogger...the one who has a head filled to the brim with blog posts but never seems to remember to sit down and capture them all.

Too busy flitting about doing kid stuff and etsy stuff and instagrammy stuff.

Sorry bout that.

Is it really almost September?

The garden is crying out for some long overdue TLC, the house is ready for a BIG spring clean and I'm already thinking about what Christmas pretties to make for Puddleducklane Again whilst simultaneously trying to keep up with current orders.  I love this time of year but by golly my brain is tired and there never seem to be enough hours in the day.

We went on a family hike yesterday...a bit of much needed time out together in the fresh air of the great outdoors. As usual, Husband picked out a magic spot for us to explore...the London Bridge Arch and Homestead, just a hop, skip and a jump from home. It was a lovely walk at the south end of Googong Dam and I had no idea it was even there. I was in photographer heaven with the historic homestead and shearing shed and the boys loved traipsing across the waterways and along the track. We spotted two wombats, several dozen kangaroos and everywhere we went the birds were singing the joys of spring.

A spot with pastoral history and natural beauty all rolled into one.

Must dash...today is half over already and I've got more sewing to do.
Have a beautiful week!
